Driving to an appointment several weeks ago, I was coming to a stop sign when I saw something I had never seen in New York before. I quick grabbed my cellphone and it was probably the clearest picture my phone has ever taken. It was through the windshield and quite some distance away. Obviously someone was on vacation!
wow, that would be a treat if they came up this way. We have been seeing more dolphins on long island by Long Beach and robert Moses this past summer.
Now that's funny! Either things have changed a lot in the Hudson Valley, or the manatee tour driver was very, very lost.
Debbie, yes this is kind of funny...I'm pretty sure the Manatee's like the warmer waters of Florida. I remember sitting on the edge of one of the canals in Florida behind my cousins house with feet dangling just over the water and manatee's swimming by...very cool.
Oh Debbie.. I hope he was far from his home.. the poor Manatee's being up this far north... brrrrrrrrrrr
