So you're participating in the November 30 in 30 contest but running out of steam?  The ideas aren't flowing quite as well as they were days 1 through 7?  Well it's the time of year with LOTS of localism gold and consumers WILL be looking for that information!  And if you play your cards right, you can build some relationships with some small businesses too!

So without further ado, here are some topics you can tailor to your local market:

• Where can I eat Thanksgiving Day?
• Holiday Tree Lighting ceremonies
• Christmas parades
• Where's Santa?  (local appearances)
• Arts and Crafts shows
• Church pagaents and cantatas
  
• Where are the big Christmas light shows?
• Nutcracker performances
• A Christmas Carol performances
• Christmas tree farms
• Charity events (adopt a family, free meals, etc.)
  
• Regular events adapted to a holiday theme (e.g. our local train does Polar Express)
• Unique local businesses perfect for holiday shopping

You can find these events in the local newspapers, local magazines, online event calendars, on Facebook pages, from your own experiences, from just getting out in the community (pay attention to posters in store fronts), etc.  And don't forget at the end of the post to let them know that YOU'RE A REALTOR® if you don't want them calling you to reserve a table at the arts and crafts fair!
