The importance of your septic system could be vitally important to the sale and purchase of your home. Recently, I have a property under contract where there was an inspection performed. Upon the inspection it was found that it not only needed a new tank but the drain field replaced as well. This of course was not accounted for or disclosed and will cost around $6,500 to replace.
