Dang it! I did it again!

Dang it! I did it again!

As is often I’m on the run when I hear the sound of those jungle drums going off in my shirt pocket. It’s one of my tribe, they need me now!

My adrenaline rushes, reflex takes over.

Briefcase in my right hand I snap with my left...

I’m one iPhone slinging 4s digital cowboy and quick draw that baby in a nano second.

I’m thumbing navigation, pin in, check email, got it, and go for reply.

Dang it! I did it again...

I hit delete.

Dear Apple...

Why is the delete button in the middle and oh so close to reply?

Rene, Howdy Cowboy, aren't we all i-phone cowboys these days wrangling those calls and missed messages, and its a good question to ask why is the delete button so close to the reply button?

Rene I wanted to say I really like your slogan, I've ever noticed it before today...

Yeah I agree now that we can do one-handed what once took two.  We'd probably get someline about hours of human factors testing...   It's easier with iPhone 5 as it is thinner and your reach better with your thumb.

All those new fangled gadgets sometimes need a little more thought in the engineering and actual use department before the prototypes become reality !

Hi Bob...Totally, being the urban cowboy's we are these days... We got skills! Thanks...

John: Yes... Anyway, my thumbs aren't that big!

Sally & David... What would be cool is if we could place those buttons where we wanted them.

Wallace: That's more deliberate and a lot less likely to delete than accidentally being just a smidge off target.

Fernando: :O) ha... Dang, I did it again!

Alexandra... I got the idea for the post when it happened to me 4 times in one day and started thinking, I can't be the only one! Or, can I?

Charles: Maybe, but it hurts!

Oh no!!  I've had a similiar experience this morning.  I feel your pain.  I had several Christmas posts saved in draft in my email account.  I wanted to use a few today, and they're gone.  I don't know how but must have hit the delete key too!  Grrrrrrrrrrr . . .
