It was a beautiful winter day today in Hernando Beach, Florida, although it was a bit on the cool side with daytime temperatures only reaching into the mid 60s.
We decided to put the boat in water at the public boat ramp in Hernando Beach and take it for a ride through the Hernando Beach canals to the Gulf of Mexico.
It was late afternoon and the sun was already low on the horizon. Only a few boaters were out braving the cool wind coming from the water making for a leisurely ride along the coast passing Hernando Beach waterfront homes.
