Last night I had the honor and privilege of participating in a forum with the other candidates in the Georgia House District 71 Special Election race.
Not only did the electorate learn a lot about the people running for office, but for the first time the candidates really got to know each other as well.
And I have nothing to offer but praise for my opponents. They are a fine group of civic-minded individuals that really want to make a positive difference in the district.
But it’s the subtle differences that set the candidates apart. The voter must determine which candidate not only is the closest match to their personal political philosophy, but also has the personality and demeanor that will enable them to work well with others to achieve their intended purpose.
That determination falls to the electorate.
