I will keep this short and to the point..
This is a MUST read post that I know will help many of you.
Some time back, I did a post about Google Panda Recovery - link here and many of you read, but
it might have been just another post to respond to for you.
In that post, I shared 7 points on what it takes to recover (or simply to rank well)..
The example site I used www.mastersint.com had been previously penalized in Google before I purchased the domain.
At the time of my previous post just 6 weeks ago, the site had just started to recover. The site is now in the
#1 position in every search engine for the keywords I had targeted, "Quality SEO" without qutoes of course.
Many people doubted that the steps I outlined could work, many have negatively commented about my stand on
"white space", and have told me that this factor does not affect ranking. To many it was just another post to read and respond to and get a few points on A/R.
It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words.
Here is a picture for those who doubt that white space will help a site to recover/rank.. 
Here are the 7 suggestions I made in my previous post. Use them, and you will do well!
- Clean up all incoming links by contacting the sites and removing the spammy ones.
- Clean up the site to add lots of whitespace and well formatted paragraphs.
- Make sure you have not "Over Optimized" ... Ie, don't stuff keywords etc.
- Make sure your Title, Meta Keywords, Meta Description, and Content AGREE!
- Have one or 2 outbound links to relevant sites (hopefully not your competitors).
- WAIT, WAIT, WAIT till you KNOW the site has been indexed and check your position.
- Make minor adjustments and WAIT WAIT WAIT till the next index.
That is exactly what I did to MastersInt.Com, and the site is now solidly in position 1 in Google for the search term "Quality SEO", proof here. It is also in the #1 position for 6 other highly searched keywords, and in the top 10 for another 8 highly searched keywords. This site is going to bring me a LOT of business.. Your site can do the same for you my friends.
I know this may seem like nothing to many of you, but this site was previously not even in the index it was SO dead. Many people have railed at me for these posts, but I am trying to give you practical ways to recover your business without paying for SEO services.
I am certainly available to do SEO gigs for anyone, but you would well serve yourself to do the things I have recommended, and hold onto your money.
