Here I am just working through the close of my business day at Fishhawk Lake (did an offer and a counter-offer yesterday), prepping for my big design meeting Thursday for my new website (oh YEAH, I’m EXCITED and don't forget to check out the ActiveRain contest), finishing up the 2013 Jumpstart Blogging Contest and what comes on satellite radio but one of my all time favorite get-your-groove-on songs, Dancing in the Streets!

Many artists have done this, but this version was an unlikely pair of powerhouses, David Bowie and Mick Jagger! I’ve seen them BOTH in concert…in my much younger days.

I have to say that this video I found is quite old…the clothes are SO 80’s, but who cares???!! They obviously have fun playing off each other and are consummate artists!

wow, you've had a productive sounding day. Congrats on finishing the Jumpstart challenge. I'm exhausted and need to get some sleep, so when I clicked on that video.....oh the energy..... John, you are so funny--thank you! Uh, not lookin' for the ole start on this one, but if YOU think it's worthy, then once again, you've made my day.

Sondra--I thought it was amazing how very skinny both of them were, even with the big clothes...and YES we/they used to wear this stuff! I always loved Bowie's style, though and he IS married to a fashion icon. Iman. His was one of the VERY BEST concerts I ever went to--an absolutely AMAZING voice and presence.
