Olde Town Arvada is located just north of the I-70 Wadsworth bypass and is marked by its famous blue and white water tower.  This unique and historic neighborhood was founded during the gold rush era and has been the heart of Arvada ever since.

The original town buildings now house a variety of small, local business including a bridal shop, clothing boutiques, a pet shop, coffee houses, ice cream and frozen yogurt parlors, a used book store, and a wide variety of restaurants.  The combination of modern shops and restaurants within historic buildings gives Olde Town Arvada a small town atmosphere.

There is always plenty of entertainment in Olde Town with several bars hosting local bands and comics, a movie theatre and the Festival Playhouse, known for its diverse selection of plays and musicals for all ages.  The streets of Olde Town are also known for hosting several different festivals during the year, with the Annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival just around the corner on Saturday March 16th.

 

Majority of homes in Olde Town Arvada are single family, built from the early 1900’s through the late 1960’s, and range in square footage from just over 800 to over 2,000.  The early built homes are mostly ranch and victorian in style, and the newer home are mostly traditional 2 story. All of these homes have 2-4 bedrooms, 1-3 bathrooms, and range in price on the low end from about $80,000 and on the high end to the high 300’s. Car ports and detached garages are a very popular feature in Olde Town Arvada homes.
