  1. Feasibility StudyWhen A HUD Approved 203k Consultant Inspects a property for compliance of Minimum Property Standards (MPS) as mandated by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) it may also include changes the client my wish to make during the 203k renovation process.

     

    The study will help determine which 203K program is best.  Is the property in need of a ‘Full’ 203K? Or a 203k Streamline? The Feasibility Study should not be confused with a standard Pre Purchase Inspection which is recommended on all properties that are being purchased. A written report is prepared and emailed to the client. The fee for the feasibility study is due upon completion. The 203k loan is an under-utilized tool. Many buyers could create equity by using the FHA/203k loan to buy and renovate homes that need some work.
