The Bronx River Parkway is a beautiful, windy stretch of road that travels from Yonkers to Val Halla. Every year the Westchester County Parks dept closes the road to vehicles and opens it to bikers, runners, walkers, and rollers, between Yonkers and White Plains. The dates this year are as follows,
May 5, 12 and 19
June 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30
September 8, 15, 22 and 29
Hours are 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Admission is free. $5 parking at the County Center lot in White Plains.
