Rhythm Run 5K and Fun Run

The South Shore Conservatory invites the public to join in its first ever Rhythm Run 5K and Fun Run on Saturday, May 18, 2013.

The Rhythm Run takes place in Hingham’s Bare Cove Park and starts at 9 am. Approximately 400 runners from all over the South Shore are expected to participate. Prizes will be awarded to the overall winners, as well as winners in each age category.

Children through the age of 10 are invited to take part in a Fun Run in the Conservatory’s circular driveway, where everyone is a winner. The Fun Run starts at 9 am.

Conservatory students and faculty will perform during the event, which closes with a fun, family concert in the Conservatory’s Jane Carr Amphitheater.

Proceeds from this year’s Rhythm Run benefit critical playground renovations at the Conservatory’s Hingham campus.
