Questions Sellers Need To Ask A Real Estate Broker - Question 3

By
Real Estate Agent with The Maez Group at Keller Williams Realty

There are plenty of questions you need to ask a Realtor when you are selling your home.  Here is a good list to get you started.  Go back and read Part 1 and Part 2 if you missed it.

How will my property be marketed?

Marketing in the housing industry has come a long way in a few short years.  Advertising a property with a picture in the office window, placing an ad in the local paper or entering data into the MLS is not enough.  Your Realtor needs to be up to date on all methods of marketing, particularly online marketing.

According to the National Association of Realtors, 88% of home buyers use the Internet as the main resouce for finding homes.  Be sure your Realtor is using all the latest online tools such as Facebook, Pinterest, Google Plus, LinkedIn and Twitter as well as blogging.  Syndication sites such as Trulia, Zillow, Realtor.com and others are immensely valuable in getting your property seen by more people.

Question to the Reader: Have you used any of the above websites for Real Estate purposes?

Joe,

Another great question clients or prospective clients should be asking. It is our responsibility to give clients the best service we can and proper up to date marketing is high on the list. Clients should expect internet advertising, it is a big part of our business today.
