Port Potomac is one of the Woodbridge VA neighborhoods designed and developed along Route 1 since 2004. Multiple builders including Ryan Homes, Drees Homes, NVR and Kettler Brothers helped shape Port Potomac. Final delivery of new homes (already completed) by M/I homes and Richmond American are underway. The neighborhood has a mix of townhouses and detached homes with multiple floor plans.
When you first enter the community you can't help but notice the large community center. The community center features a place for neighbors to gather and host special events. The center also has an indoor pool, exercise room, outdoor pool, tennis courts and a basketball court. There is also a dog park off of the main road at the back of the community.
Port Potomac features easy access to the Rippon Landing VRE, I-95 and PRTC commuter lots. The neighborhood is also popular with military families stationed at Quantico, Fort Belvoir and the Pentagon, as all are easily accessible from Port Potomac. Nearby shopping includes the Potomac Mills Mall and the new Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center with Wegmans grocery store, Zoes Kitchen and Uncle Julio's. If you need to leave the community for a little extra R&R you can launch your boat at Leesylvania State Park or hike through Prince William Forest Park.
