DescriptionPlay, fun, socialization, learning . . . Our 6-week class for puppies aged 8-16 weeks uses the Playground of Higher Learning to provide a unique learning experience for pups and owners alike. The majority of the class is taught off-leash. In addition to learning basic manners, pups improve their balance and coordination by navigating equipment in the Playground, just as young children do. Controlled playtimes with time-outs help pups learn appropriate social behavior. The fun and lively setting helps create confident pups that grow into confident and better-behaved adult dogs. Maximum class size: 6 pups. Cost: $104. Reduced tuition for HAWS adopters: $79.
Basic Manners Level 1

DescriptionBasic Manners – Level 1 6-Week class for dogs of all ages and puppies over 16 weeks. The goal of this class is to lay a strong foundation in basic skills such as sit, down, come, loose leash walking, wait, stay and focus on the handler. Week by week the dog will learn to perform skills with increasing levels of distraction, distance and duration. We'll also help you build a relationship of trust with your dog that will make training faster and easier. Maximum class size: 6 dogs. Cost: $104. Reduced tuition for HAWS adopters: $79.
