July 1st is Canada Day and embodies all of the above!
One of best kept secrets of Canada is that our orchards produce some of the most delicious Freestone Peaches in North America . . .
This delicious drink is called the Muskoka Maple Splash: 
10 fresh mint leaves1 1/2 oz Collingwood Whisky
1/2 oz Maple Syrup
1/2 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
5 fresh peach slices
Club Soda
Mint and peach slices for garnish
Slap the mint leaves in your hand a few times to release the oils.
Put the mint and remaining ingredients EXCEPT Club Soda and garnish, into a shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Top with Club Soda and garnish.

BLUEBERRY ISLAND:
1 oz Smirnoff
4 oz blueberry juice
1/2 oz melon liquor
1 oz lemon lime soda
fresh blueberries for garnish
Fill a highball glass with ice and fill with vodka, juice and soda. Garnish with blueberries on a skewer.
