4th of July in Brentwood TN!
The annual Firecracker 5K race will be held in Maryland Farms with runners starting and finishing at the YMCA on Maryland Way. The race begins at 7:00 am on July 4. A Kid’s Fun Run is scheduled for 8:00 am. You should avoid the Maryland Farms area on Thursday morning between 6:00am-10:00am if you are not involved in the race as several roads will be closed during these hours.
The fireworks celebration in Brentwood begins at 7:00 pm at Crockett Park at the Eddy Arnold Amphitheater with a concert featuring The Kadillacs. The Kadillacs have been headlining on July 4th in Brentwood since the 1980’s. They play a variety of classic tunes and are sure to please everyone in your party. This is a free event.
The fireworks show will begin between 9:00-9:30, when it is good and dark.
There is a lot of parking at Crockett Park, but not near enough. If you happen to live in one of the adjoining neighborhoods it is wise to walk or bike to the park. Be aware though that your return trip will be in the dark so you may want to bring a flashlight!
