It's July - How's 2013 going for you?

Spring was crazy busy - the phone rang all day and all night, we had appointments nearly every day, and clients came out of the woodwork. Our current inventory is nearly double what it was at this point of 2012, and our closed sales for the first half of 2013 are about equal to our closed sales for all of 2012. 

 

Now we enter the doldrums of summer, where living is easy and the lemonade pours all day long.....

 

 

Or so one would think. Here at Hallmark Realtors, we're working double time, not just to complete the closings that occupied us all spring, but to generate more business so that our fall can be even busier. 

We're marketing ourselves with our 4 biggest revenue-generating activities:

 

1. Networking - We get more business from networking than from any other single source, so that continues to be a large piece of our schedule. Wayne is the President of the local BNI chapter which has been great in building our inventory of homes and in adding to our client list. We participate in various networking events all year, and summer has been no exception.

 

 

2. Prospecting - It's the lifeblood of our business, but it's at the bottom of everyone's to-do list. Not ours. We prospect all summer - it's the only way to keep the pipeline filled.

 

 

 

 

 


3. Open Houses - We're trying to hold an open house every 
week this summer since buyers are out in droves. This has added plenty of new buyers to our client list.

 

 

 

 


4. Touching the Sphere of Influence
- Keeping in contact with our former clients is critical. We sent out newsletters in May, sent out market reports in June and made phone calls in July.
