Ladders are a part of the trade, which one do I need today?

Most contractors have quite a selection of ladders; it’s a necessity. Ladders come in all sorts of sizes and shapes for different purposes. The need for different ladders is important, and needs to be loaded in the morning. We can’t bring all the ladders every day to work. If I know what I am doing on that day, the choices are pretty simple.

Some days I get calls during the day to come see a job; today was one of those days. There was a problem; I didn’t have the right ladder. I needed to get to the top of a two story building and didn’t have the big extension ladders with me. Going to have to come back another day!

Good morning Tom, its always nice to be prepared for anything, but we cant pack everything with us everywhere we go.  This climb will just have to wait for another day.

I have a multi-position ladder by Werner, which extends to 22' lengthwise and folds down to 5' so I can fit it into my car.  Works great for the home inspector!

Good morning Tom. Funny you should mention this. Yesterday my contractor was trying to decide which ladder to take from my garage for another job. He always talks about having the right tool.
