Hi Myrl, It was so lush. I have never seen more luscious green grass even on a golf course. That soil must be something really special. The entire property is so stunning right on the river.

Hi Roy, There certainly is. The entire East coast is so much more impressive than I ever dreamed. I wish I had time to have gone to Longwood Gardens but I have to be in PA for a few days in October and might venture down there. It will be Fall but the place is so full of amazing things to see, the time of year may not affect it much.

Hi Hannah, We are having only moderate high temps out here and it is bearable. I am sad for all of you back East that have to endure this record high temp condition.

Hi Gayle, You sure have done that easily here. The Hadley, as famous as it is didn't have so many people attending as to seem crowded. In fact while I was off by the river, I didn't see anyone. It was a warm day but not hot. As I remember it, the temp was a perfect early summer day with bright sun and the smell of fresh cut grass. That smell is priceless. It brings back so many wonderful memories of growing up with a big lawn.
