I dont like Dave Ramsey on Valentine's Day

Thanks to Dave Ramsey and having no budget on Valentine's Day (also my anniversary), my husband always teases me about why he never buys me anything for our special occassion. I thought I'd at least get 2 gifts when we decided to get married on Valentine's Day 7 beautiful years ago.

It's confirmed and I've verified. My husband is BROKE. He has no cash in his wallet. That means I'm not getting anything. Haha......

Hack!

It's kinda funny sometimes and we do laugh about it.

Darn Dave Ramsey!!!!..... (We dont say bad words in our home). That's what we always say when we FEEL like spending money.

We're still doing good on his Baby Steps. It's going to be a long road on Step 6, but we'll get to the finish line somehow.

Happy Valentine's Day to all my friends here.

Well, I have never heard of Dave Ramsey until tonight, but I've read several posts about him so guess I will go Google him. It sounds like he has some good financial advice. I believe that old saying, "the best things in life are free." That goes for my favorite things - hugs - from my family and my big red dogs (yes, they learned to hug when they were puppies . . . not necessarily a good thing now that they're over 70lbs!)

I'm just finishing up the Total Money Makeover and am inspired!!!! I tried to enroll in his online group, but he doesn't take credit cards, just debit cards... and I don't have one of those... Sigh... but anyway, I'm pretty jazzed about changing my approach to money.
