Some Mission Viejo Residential Real Estate Deals Are Delightful

I believe in balance, so I’d like to give you the other side of the story when it comes to Mission Viejo residential real estate deals.  Not all Mission Viejo residential real estate deals are laced with drama that would meet the reality TV series standards for maximum audience attraction.  So as boring and uneventful as these Mission Viejo residential real estate deals may be, I’d love to share some recent conversations I've had with my clients.  Conversations that show that some of you are actually getting some useful information here that has helped smooth Mission Viejo residential real estate deals on the path to the County Recorder’s Office, which, as you all know, is the final step in transferring ownership.

Here are my top recent conversations that have been music to my ears, and void of any adversity, worry, alarm, or unreasonableness and full of noble intent, willingness to do what it takes, and a bias toward success.

“We’ve emailed you a PDF with all the updated financial information the bank’s Short Sale negotiator has requested.  Sorry the numbers on our bank statement are different than last month’s statement.  We added another $30,000 to our savings to the balance is a little bit higher than before.”

“We’d like you to come over and let us know all of the things we need to do so our house will be ready to put on the market.”  Seven weeks later:  “We’re ready.  We’re exhausted, but we’ve done everything we talked about are we are ready for the pictures to be taken!”

“Our 200 pound mastiff isn’t going to make a fuss if anyone comes to view the house when I’m not here.  The only problem is, she won’t let anyone leave until I return.  She’ll literally pin them in the kitchen.  So I’ll just take her with me to make it easy to show our house.”

“Yes, we read what you said about dezooatizing the house.  That’s why the pet snake, who we really never thought would live this long, and her cozy terrarium, will be moving out of the upstairs office and into the garage - in a spot that is out of sight and inaccessible to any buyers who come to check out the house.”

“I know I have to take my seven signed Hollywood posters down from the walls in my office.  Can I keep just one so the walls don’t look completely bare?”

“The dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, and garage door opener don’t seem to be working any more.  Oh, that’s too bad that this was one of four homes in the neighborhood that experienced an accidental and unexpected power surge, but I sure am happy to hear that the owner has already ordered brand new appliances and they’re scheduled to be installed before the close of escrow at no cost to the buyer!  And that they’ll be dealing with the insurance claims process with the power company.”

“No, we don’t need to make a counter offer.  They’ve offered what we asked for and are willing to close escrow in 21 days, and we’re very happy with that.  Thanks!”

These comments are simply music to this Realtor's ears and sadly very uncommon in Mission Viejo residential real estate deals.
