Waterside in Surprise Arizona seems to be the theme of activities in the area on the weekends now that the kids have gone back to school. If your family is looking for something fun to do waterside during the next couple of weekends in August, bring them on over to the City of Surprise.
If you have smaller children, this may be just the event for you. August 17 is the Itty Bitty Beach Party at the Surprise Aquatic Center. This poolside party for children ages 6 and under will be from 10:00 am to Noon with music, prizes and crafts. Tickets are on sale now - $5.00 for resident children, $10.00 for non resident children and adults are free.
Fun for the entire family will be August 24th with a Dive In Movie. The family movie Epic will be playing from 7:30 until 9:30 pm for your family to enjoy while swimming. Concessions will be available for purchase and tickets are $3.00 for residents and $6.00 for non residents. Delight the whole family with swimming, a movie and snacks at Surprise Aquatic Center.
