Those long summer days isn't going to last forever. So we better enjoy it as much as we can! So, if you haven't been to LowryPark Zoo during the summer, today's the perfect time to pack your stuff, strap your kids in the car, and head over there.
Acclaimed as the #1 Family Friendly Zoo in the country by Parents Magazine, this zoo has A LOT to boast. It highlights about 2,000 animals all housed in a blossoming 56 acre of natural environment.
When you're here, be sure to check out the Asian Gardens, Primate World, Manatee and Aquatic Center, Native Florida Wildlife Center, Free-Flight Aviary, Wallaroo Station children's zoo, and Safari Africa. You'll have a great time there!
If viewing animals behind cages just won't cut for you and your kids, this zoo in Tampa offers a whole heap of interactive encounter. This teaches our kids (and us as well) the values of knowing more about nature and why we need to co-exist and take care of wildlife and preserve our natural heritage. One of the things you can do is feeding the giraffes, stingrays, and lorikeets. You can go the extra mile and take a ride on Domedary camels and ponies like these children did over at the right.
When you're in Safari Africa, you can go sky-high and take a tour of the zoo via "Skyfari sky ride". The zoo also features 2 water-game area, educational shows, rides, and restaurants.
