With a projected total "Gross Metropolitan Product" (GMP) for 2007 through 2012 coming in at a whopping 22.81%, the article describes Atlanta as a "job magnet" epitomizing the "economic boom of the Southeast."

The population in our great city has doubled in the past 20 years and is expected to grow another 11% by the year 2012.

This is great news! I already appreciate how great our metro area is and I try to spread the word both when I speak with people and in my blogs. I say kudos for the positive influence your words have on our marketplace and beloved city!

I just noticed you are from Tampa/Clearwater! I lived their from 2001 to 2004. At first I rented a place on Roosevelt Blvd in Clearwater and later rented a condo on Bayshore and Gandy! Wow, small world!
