COMMUTING
Springfield is at the junction of three of the most heavily travelled commuter routes in Northern Virginia, I-95, I-395 and I-495. EASE OF COMMUTING is one of the many factors that contributes to the popularity of Springfield. In our 31 years as Realtors my husband and I have witnessed firsthand the tremendous amount of improvement that has been made and continues to be made. For example, construction will begin pretty soon on HOT LANES on both I-495, I-95 and I-395.
SCHOOLS

Availability of neighborhood shopping facilities is an important consideration when deciding on a home purchase. The national and local chains are well represented as well as local retailers such as FISCHER'S HARDWARE. Similar to our schools, Fairfax County has an excellent park system that strives to protect the environment and, at the same time, provide a county-wide system to maximize the ability of we citizens to enjoy our favorite recreational activities. Four of the major parks serve the SPRINGFIELD AREA
