A Day of Celebration for the Silva Household 217 and 2 Months
My family has a strong life line, and today it was in it's glory as my parents, Joe and Laura Silva, celebrated birthdays. Dad, Joseph Silva, celebrated his 93rd birthday and Mom, Laura Silva celebrated 91 years. Younger nephew, Kevin is a nominal 33 years old.
Joseph Silva was born in Erie PA, September 29, 1920.
Laura Silva was born in New Bedford Ma, September 24, 1922
Nephew Kevin was born in Waterbury CT September 25, 1980
Mom and Dad were children through the depression, Dad was in the Navy through WWII, and they have been married since April 29, 1945. At weddings they attend, they are always the last couple standing when they dance that Anniversary dance.
The extra 2 months comes from great grandson RJ, Robert Joseph Silva
At 2 months old, RJ comlpetes 4 generations of Silvas for our family, father Steven, Great Grandpa Joe, and Josephe A Silva, eldest son to Dad and grand father of RJ.
There were a lot of laughs, more than enough food, a fine weather day and a day of appreciation that all were here to enjoy the day and each other.
