Chicago Illinois West Rogers Park is also known as West Ridge. It is the Neighborhood South of Howard Street and its boundaries are Ridge Boulevard and west to Western Avenue. At one time 
many years ago it was part of Rogers Park but became a separate area about 125 years ago.
West Ridge is one of Chicago's thriving multi-ethnic areas which has many 1920's historic mansions lining Ridge and absolutely beautiful huge brick homes on the north side of Pratt Avenue. These homes turn heads and are often valued in the million dollar range. One can also find houses and condos that are very affordable from $200k up to as much as your heart desires, there is a wide range of property suitable for all.
There are many fine places to eat and on Devon St one can find one of the largest Indian ethnic areas in the entire USA. The dining is fantastic and you can find people walking around on the streets looking at shops and enjoying themselves daily. I love this area and many people coming to Chicago often ask me about it and I recommend many restaurants as I personally search for different taste treats to tickle my palate.
