Crystal Beach Florida Fishing - Trout For Dinner

Barbara-Jo can I come over and join Ronnie? I love to fish and I love to eat fresh fish even more.

Barbara Jo~we have salmon and steelhead, but it's catch and release only. The cutthroat trout get to be fairly good size, but not like Ron's! You can catch and keep 2 of those a day during fishing season, which just ended.

We were actually snorkling in the basin yesterday with the owner of The Placencia in about 10 feet of water and he went to the opening of the breakwater and speared multiple red snapper and grouper and brought them in for the fresh catch of the day. 

Now that's fresh.

Barbara Jo, You changed your profile photo, Love it!  I was chatting with one of my mom's friends while in Baltimore and said that in FL on the coast, one could live off of the fish caught if they wanted to.  Your Ronnie definitely does!

How nice that he also cooks what he catches!  You're pretty lucky indeed.

New test for you: Do you hate working more and more knowing you could be out there fishing, boating and all that "hard" stuff? I am testing myself more often lately, Started at "I love my work" to "Work hard, play hard" to "What the hell am I doing here?" Nah, not really... yet... well once in a while! :-)
