Did Samsung really pay Apple one billion dollars in nickels?
There's been a story circulating on the Internet over the past few weeks claiming that Samsung paid Apple one billion dollars with truckloads of nickels when they lost a lawsuit to the company. In fact, the story was so juicy, I fell for it myself!
But if I know one thing about the Internet, its that you gotta verify everything you read on the web! So of course I did some investigating, and unfortunately its not true.
Too bad! I was about to crown Samsung as my favorite jokster corporation.
