We all know that Drinking and Driving is always a stupid, selfish and insane idea and yet people continue to do so. However, this post is not about DRIVING under the Influence but instead,
DECORATING under the influence !
NBC reports "according to government health officials who say that holiday decorating injuries have risen steadily for the past four years. The number of people whose "Ho-ho" turned to "Oh, no!" climbed to more than 15,000 seen in U.S. emergency rooms last year, according to new data from the Consumer Product Safety Commission."
That’s more than 250 people a day hurt by decorating accidents between Nov. 1 and the end of December last year!!!
Many of these injuries are falls from ladders and back injuries - many of which are caused by decorating under the influence - (not to mention those terribly embarrassing injuries with glass bobbles that send people to ER) people tend to want to be creative when drinking??
