Today’s View December 19,  2013 – New Market Md. - Detached homes

This is a market report on Detached Homes in New Market, Md. 21774 for sale.  At the time of this report (12/19/2013) there are 60 such homes on the market FOR SALE, another 32 under contract, and 11 that have sold in the last 30 days. Thus the absorption rate (60/11) shows a 5.45 month inventory, what is considered a normal market.

 

Two Bedrooms

The closing price of these homes ranged from $254,000 to $339,000, with the median being $281,420. These homes range in price from a low of $334.900 to $592,900, with the median being $529,996.  The days on market for these homes ranges from a month and a half (45 days) to 7 months (205 days) with the median being over 3 months (100 days).

There are another 2 five-bedroom detached homes in the area that are under some form of contract.  One home was last lited at $299,000 and had been on the market for a little over a week (10 days), while the other was listed at $450,000 and it was on the market for a month (38 days).
