My reasons for Christmas

I'm so blessed to be able to see all of my immediate family and quite a few other people I love and care about during this last week of the year. For me, the reason for the season is these two kids, my son and my brother's daughter. We'll all be together in my car when we leave my mom's in D.C. and drive to my dad's in NYC later this week.

Thank you all for making this first year on Active Rain a good one for me, both professionally and personally. Quite a few of you have made an impression on me, and I'm very glad to know you, even if only electronically.
