A Promise Made
“A promise made is a debt unpaid."
Robert W. Service 1874 – 1958, Poet, Writer
As I see it . . . . . . .
A promise made
A promise made is an I O U . . . . and the person that you made the promise to expects to collect on it.
They may collect on the promise quickly . . . . or they may collect on it later . . . . but the one thing you can count on is they won’t forget your promise made.
When you make a promise . . . made it with the understanding that you will keep it . . . . and meet the person’s expectations by doing what you said you would do.
Promises kept are the building blocks in creating successful and lasting relationships . . . . A promise broken will create a quick end to the relationship.
Never make a promise that you don’t intent to keep . . . .
A promise made . . . . is giving your word on your future intention for what the person expects you to do.
