Better Ways to Fly than American Airlines from Key West to Sacramento

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

Adjusting to time changes has always been extremely difficult for me. It's a little bit easier going West from Sacramento than it is going East. But even coming home takes a day or two to adjust to when I'm flying from Key West to Sacramento. We left Key West at 8 AM, which would be 5 AM Pacific Standard Time. We arrived in Sacramento 12 hours later. To say it was not an easy journey would be an understatement. I was so wound up I could hardly sleep at all last night, plus, there was the added benefit of 3 cats jumping on and poking us until the wee hours, wondering if it's true that we are really home.

You can read more about Coming Home from Key West to Sacramento in my personal blog today, and the next time a fellow human being asks for a favor, consider granting it.

Forget people actually being nice, or flight attendants doing their jobs.  Bummer.  Glad you made it home safe and sound.  I know that your cats are so glad you are home.

Oh, this reminds me of flying to & from Hawaii.  I had no problem going over from Cleveland, but coming back I felt like I missed a night's sleep.

Thanks for the travel-log, Elizabeth.

That's quite a story about American's Customer (NO) Service on your personal blog Elizabeth.  Aren't they the airline that has been in and out of bankruptcy a couple of times?

Animals (our pets) do have feelings and can interpret our actions and they know when we are in a good mood and when we need someone or something to make us feel better. Glad to hear your cats love you and are happy you're home.

Put 40 years of experience to work for you

Hi Chris Ann: The cats were beside themselves with glee upon our arrival home. I used to have a cat, Brandon, who would completely ignore me for days when I've been gone for a while, but not this trio. I think the housesitters spoiled them.

Hi Mary: I've only got a 2-hour time change to Hawaii, but for you, that would be 5 hours, right? I find it easier to adjust to 2-hours later in Sacramento from Hawaii than 3-hours earlier from Florida.

Hi Jim: Oh, they are almost all like that -- nobody cares about customer service anymore and the people in customer service positions hate their jobs so much that it shows. The scary underbelly to how corporations are run is still based on the Peter Principle, even all these years later, so disorganized and screwed up I'm astonished anything gets done at all.

Hi James: I just wish they wouldn't wake us up in the middle of the night, poking and purring, but whaddareya gonna do?

Hi Conrad: Ok, I draw the line at clicking my heels together.
