National Dress Up Your Pet Today January 14, 2014

Today is "National Dress Up Your Pet Today" so if they hide under the bed, they know what's up. This date was founded in 2009 by celebrity pet lifestyle expert and animal behaviorist Colleen Paige. It was created to have fun and enjoy your pet and support the pet fashion lifestyle.

Here are a few of my pets dressed up. Two of my dogs hate to dress up but the third loves it and she runs if you try to take the dresses off. She is a true "Ballerina" girl.

Hi Li,

Yes many just have the nature to love to dress up and be pampered. My terrier here loves to go to the groomers, get her nails painted and prances around so happy when she gets home. My chihuahuas do not care for outside grooming so I usually do not put them through the ordeal.

A cute little lavender tutu and she wore it all day. I had to drag her out from under the bed to take it off. She loves to wear clothes. I sometimes buy them all matching dresses. So cute and they have matching parkers too.

Yes they normally just get lightweight knitted dog dresses that are comfy but they still do not like them except for my terrier Gidget.

Hi Michael,

Well maybe he doesn't like the same team you do. My little girls get cold in the Arctic Freeze that comes through so I have to put coats on them sometimes as they do not have a whole lot of hair. My 6 lb chihuahua is always cold anyway.
