Spring Weather Needs to Make Up Its Mind

The trend for wacky weather continues! For the last 3-4 years, I've noticed how weird the weather seems to be. And that seems to be true EVERYWHERE. I suspect it's just an odd weather season of life - like the dust bowl years during the depression and the locust years many decades ago. But it does make for interesting conversation.

Yesterday, while babysitting grandkids, the sky went from cloudy blue sunshine to dark gloomy overcast to sunshine to pouring rain to sunshine to drips to sunshine to drips to more pouring rain - the kind you might see on the East Coast - but this is the WEST Coast.

Ah well, while it can be a bit challenging for dealing with real estate chores, eventually it will sort itself out. In the meantime, I got some grand photos including this one during the darker moments. All of these weather changes reminded me of a Scripture I really appreciate - especially when so MANY things are changing in so MANY ways (and that can be true for all of us all through our lives, can't it? And especially for so many boomers and seniors.) It's such a sweet comfort to remember that some things NEVER change - and this is the most important thing of all!

Encouraging and comforting Bible verses for Kaye Swain Pierce County Washington REALTOR and my grandkids - Jesus is the same forever

Have a blessed and beautiful week - no matter WHAT your weather is like!

P.S. Do you notice the little buds on the branches. Spring IS coming - it might be kicking and screaming but flowers are popping out all and it's gorgeous!

Weather is a tricky thing and it seems to be getting unpredictable by the year. I'll be posting some weird weather photos later this evening. Stay dry and don't get sunburned.

I find it interesting that they only predicted rain and it snowed!! The snow only stuck for a short time when it finally started sticking, most of it melted on contact.

LOL - Good one Debbie!  It kept up the alternating yesterday - then we had freeze warnings over night and then today - gorgeous, sunny, blissful - and rain due tomorrow.   SOOOOO changeable and fun. But I am blissing out over all the lovely spring flowers!!!!

Oh wow, Gerard - you definitely beat us. No snow for which I'm grateful as I was out babysitting grandkids last night and up at my Keller Williams office today. I got used to driving in the snow in Kentucky but I'm glad to get OUT of the practice a bit here on the West Coast - at least most of the year.  Glad yours was just a bit.

It was 39 degrees the other night.  Today it was 82.   Gotta love it!

BTW...   Praise The Lord and thank you for posting "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever!"

SOOOO true Fred. And oh my, that sounds so lovely! We didn't make it to 82 but we did get to a nice comfy temp for walking for my senior mom and myself - hooray! And the CLOUDS here are spectacular! Just gorgeous

Yesterday was cold and rainy here, but this week we have Spring days I think, in the 70's. :) Happy, as I love Spring. Hope it is there soon. Thank the Lord He never changes. I love your picture.

Kaye - The weather is surprising all of us across the US anyway. Just like you looking forward to warmer days. Nice post.
