Real Estate Office Closed On Weekends???
I'm always amazed when a caller is surprised that I answer my phone on Sundays. Goodness, if I'm here, of course I answer the phone. If I go out, I return messages as soon as I return. The exception is when I have a buyer/client with me.
I can't imagine anything else. That said, I've called for (Appt: Agent Only/Call Agent or Appt: Call Office) appointments and gotten no answer and no message on weekends. I've gotten messages that say they're open Mon. - Fri. 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Just when most consumers are working.
I'm not complaining. Fact is, if I want to speak with an agent, I'll track them down if it's possible.

It's surprising to me to how many local offices are not open on the weekends. Much of our local real estate market is selling to buyers who are looking for a weekend getaway from areas around our state and the weekend is when those buyers have time off to view homes.
We have people stopping by our office because they drive by and see cars here and telling us they are surprised we are open. Of course we're open on weekends. About a third of our walk in traffic occurs on weekends.
Our hours of business are 9 to 5 Monday through Saturday and 1 to 5 on Sunday afternoons. We also will set appointments outside of those hours to show you property if you need us to work evenings. We offer free maps and have a few magazines you can pick up with some great information about our area and what's happening over the spring months. And of course we have a couple of real estate magazines you can pick up as well.
You're also invited to stop by and have a cup of coffee with us anytime as well. We've always got a fresh cup of coffee with your name on it at Lane Realty.
