It took you HOW LONG to buy a PAIR of SHOES, I mean a HOUSE?

Susan - Great post on how much pressure is on a Tracy, CA home buyer!  I think if a home buyer had their way, they'd prefer to take the shoe buying time-line approach, but that's not the market you are in and that is why it is so important to work with a local real estate professional like yourself that can help them through the fast-paced process!  

Susan,  If your market is that hot, it's important that buyers work with a good buyer's agent, inspector, attorney, lender and whoever else may be needed to make sure this is the right purchase for them.  After all, it's one of the largest purchases they will ever make.  Buying shoes is easier.  Like you said, you can always return them.

Your market is the same as ours in Austin. A buyer must be able to make a decision quickly and determine how much more to bid to actually acquire the home. You homework is done before even looking a homes. Researching which school district, what style of home and the general square footage and beds & baths. Armed with knowledge making that decision will be much easier!

Hi Susan, informative post like this is really helpful. Home buyers should need to do their home work, this is very important to them.

I only own one pair of shoes, but dozens of homes, I dont waste much time deciding on either; decide what I want, what I am willing to pay and get it done quickly.
