Kentlands pools to open on Saturday, May 24th
We are still talking about our severe winter weather and it is almost time for the Kentlands community pools to open. You will want to be sure that all of your family members have updated their facilities passes to be ready for the pool season. And, you may wish to do a little shopping for new swim suits.
As usual, the season will close with the Annual Dog Swim on Labor Day.
This is the Pool Opening notice from the Kentlands Citizens Assembly
The lap, social and baby pools will open every day beginning May 24 through September 1. Any changes will be noted in the Express, on Facebook and the Kentlands website.
The lap pool will be closed during Kentlands Kingfish Swim Team meets. The Kingfish schedule will be available on the Kentlands website at www.kentlandsusa.com in May in the online Summer Recreation Guide.
Pool Hours for May 24 - September 1 (Labor Day)
Daily - Entire Pool: 9:30 am - 9 pm
Mon., Wed., and Fri.: Lap Pool Only (beginning May 28): 6 am - 9 am
The pool hours for July 4th: 9 am to 5 pm.
The pool will close at 4 pm on August 30 for a special community event held on the pool deck.
The early morning lap swim will be available in the social pool when the Swim Team has morning practice.
Annual Dog Swim - Pool season will end on Labor Day, Monday September 1 at 9:00 pm. The Social (Main) Pool will close at 4 pm for the season and the annual Dog Swim will be held from 4 pm to 6 pm. The Lap and Baby Pools will remain open until 9 pm.
