Bollinger Hills  - Great Places to Live in San Ramon

We talk a lot about all of the great places to live around the San Ramon, Dublin, and Danville areas to the west of the Bay Area and the Bollinger Hills community is no exception. Nestled just west of Interstate 680 and south of the Bollinger Canyon Road, this community is home to some of the more popular and established neighborhoods and residential homes in the area.

Bollinger HillsLocated between the Bishop Ranch Regional Open Space and Bollinger-Canyon Road, Bollinger Hills is home to about 540 houses ranging in size from 1800 ft.² to more than 3000 ft.².  These homes feature three, four, five and even six bedroom layouts ranging in price from about $800,000 to $1.5 million depending on size, lot size and condition. The homes were built between 1982 and 1986 and include a mixed use of one and two-story floor plans. Most lot sizes are between 8000 and 13,000 ft.². Most homes have larger lots, many of which are fenced, and back to open space and green belts. Due to the age of these homes, new listings will feature granite countertops, dateless steel appliances and upgraded flooring and cabinetry.

Bollinger HillsThe Regional Preserve, located southwest of the community, is accessible by the public and managed by the East Bay Regional Park District. Beautiful scenery, gorgeous views, and several homes, which overlooked the city and Mount Diablo, make Bollinger Hills a coveted place to live.

Bollinger Hill offers several unique community amenities such as swimming pool, children's playground, Park, picnic area and cabana, complete with the kitchen and restrooms. There are three tennis courts and a bocce ball court. These amenities are for the exclusive use of the residents in this community and are centrally located along Morgan Drive. The Bollinger Hills Homeowner’s Association is self-managed by a volunteer group of residential homeowners. They vowed to preserve the integrity and condition that is kept Bollinger Hills one of the most popular neighborhoods in San Ramon. The homeowner’s dues are extremely reasonable at less than $50 per month.

Memorial Park is close by and provides playground equipment, a baseball diamond, soccer fields, a BMX bike track and a dog park.

The Bollinger Hills community is served by the award-winning San Ramon Valley Unified School District and is served by Bollinger Canyon elementary, Iron Horse middle school and Cal High high school.
