Last week I went to see the 2014 Southern Living showcase home. Many of you who live in the South know about the Southern Living Magazine. This magazine has one annual Southern Living Home in different southern cities throughout the USA. They have an admission fee to raise money for local charities.
There is still time to go tour this home it will be on until June 15 2014; it is only open on Thursday through Sunday from 11:00am to 6:00pm. Tickets online are $10 and $12 at the event. Most of the proceeds will benefit Operation Finally Home and HomeAid Houston.
This Southern Living Home is located in the Towne Lake master planned community and it is in the Water’s Edge subdivision. So come on out and tour a beautiful home and help support your local charities.
This year’s home was built by Morning Star Builders; it is an interesting home to tour. I think my favorite part of the home was the outdoor living space. It was terrific and you could screen it off to keep the critters out. I have attached some pictures of the home.
