Monika  I hear we are going to have a least 1 day of spring next week!  I think we may be over the worst -- I have my bathing suit ready!

Joan those are all things to be very proud of, now all New Hampshire needs to do is to make sure that it stays that way :)

George -- We just the major problem I see is that we still have sooooo much snow!  I am hoping that we see spring soon!  We also need more money and more young people in the state.  It is a great state, but it still had some challenges.  However, I think most people are committed to working on those challenges.

Hi Joan-I think it is soooo beautiful but that fluffy stuff can't fool me!  It might be pretty but its cold and it melts..no I don't enjoy living in snow.  I was one of those kids who had to walk uphill through snow to get to school..I lived in PA.

Midori ~  It was very difficult moving from San Francisco to New Hampshire.  The only thing that has made it worthwhile is the quality of life here -- I still a problem with all of the white fluff!  I am looking forward to the other 3 seasons -- they are beautiful.

I think it's the "live free or die" motto that makes it the most livable- at least that advice works for me! :-)

Actually- I've visited your great state... and the fact that it's breathtaking also helps.

Wow. What a great post. I've been a lot of places, but never to New Hampshire...thanks for alerting me to it's beauty. Now I gotta figure out whether to visit and enjoy it, or avoid it so my wife doesn't get ideas of moving cross-country!

Aloha Joan,

New Hampshire is a lovely state I must agree. I went to prep school in Meridan, NH. Good ol' Kimbal Union Academy. I loved it there a little too cold in the Winter months for my tastes but beautiful none the less.

Thanks for sharing,

Joey aka Robinhood  I miss my days in California.  New Hampshire is a beautiful state, so if I had to leave my heart in San Francisco, at least I found a nice place to live.

Thesa  Thanks for stopping by.  Oregon is a lovely state as well.   Hope you can come and visit New Hampshire some time.  Let me know if you are coming this way.
