I have been visiting the Houzz site for about a year now simply as a consumer. We were in the process of building a home this past year so the site was of great interest to me. I enjoy the way the site is set up and the quality of the pictures.
Once our home was completed, I still found that I was enjoying visiting the site. I discovered that as a real estate agent, I could create my very own Houzz page. I am sure that I am late to this game for many of you yet I now have it done and am so excited with the results.
It was really easy to set up my page and voila, before I knew it, I had received my first review from a past client! And best of all, the phone is ringing. I am getting questions regarding the real estate market in my area and questions asking me about local contractors that we used. I know that these phone calls and connections will lead to referrals and business.
I will keep my eye on this to evaluate what comes of this for my business. It didn't cost me anything to publish my site so no matter what, it is more exposure and it is a site I enjoy! I will keep you posted on how it goes.
