Tell The Truth, Do You Really Want To Come To A MeetUp?

I really enjoy the Active Rain Meet-ups! You are right the people are fun! This summers is the first I've missed. I had to take my Geno to a doctors appointment and after what he has been through..I needed to be there!

Tom, Our Meetups are really Fun! What a coincidence that you're having yours at a  BJ's too. How well I remember that old TV Show, "To Tell the Truth".

Good morning Tom. This is so good. I used to enjoy that show very much. You are really getting good at this.

Tom:  My answer is "yes" ... I'd love to go to a meet-up again.  But for some reason, our area of Chicagoland has a very tough time getting them organized.  I've tried multiple times and the turn-out has been dismal.  For those that did attend, I think they'd agree ... very enjoyable and well-worth the effort ...

Tom, So many folks leave comments about wanting to go ... and they, to date, never have attended.  They are missing out ... BIG TIME.  It's their loss. We can lead a horse but we can't make them drink.

Hi Tom - You're right - it's really worth doing. Mary & I are driving down to Denver Monday evening for the meet-up there. It will be our 3rd in Denver, and it's a great group of people, and great conversation.

Hi Tom.   To answer your question yep.  Debbie and I really enjoyed the Albuquerque meetup.  It's the third time in three years we have meet fellow bloggers.  Knowing Gene is still on the road we called him last night told him if he needs a bed he's welcome to stay at our place on his way back to CA.  Those cross country trips can get rough when driving alone

Tom, you know me, I wouldn't miss one if I could be there. I didn't see yours soon enought, I'm in San Jose that Day then have to go to Watsoville and Salinas afterwards. My spirit will be with you. 

Tom runs a great meetup for anyone who is thinking about one and can make it, you really would do well to be there. I'm sorry I can't be with you all this time.

Not likely this year.  The 2 closest scheduled are more than 2 hours away. 

Good luck at your meetup, Tom. I truly would love to go but I really can't get away. I've been to two of them. One was planned and one was informal. Both were a lot of fun. 

Tom~ There was a time when I was a bit intimidated about going. What was I going to talk about?? There's really nothing to worry about. There's always something to chat about and it may not be business.

I loved To Tell The Truth Tom and yes, I'd love to go to a MeetUp but have offered to host one in the area with no takers. Last year, I did have the honor of being a virtual attendee, it's an option again this year!

None near me......closest one is 2 hr drive in evening.   Someday!

The first one is the best since you have no idea what it is like. Then you want to go back again and again.

For me, it comes down to my natural shyness and anxiety.
