This Sunday, August 31, 2014, people from all over Southern California are gearing up for the exciting Annual Sand Sculpture Competition in Crestline, CA. There will be 25 spaces available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
While each contestant must bring their own buckets, shovels, or any other tools/props for their creations, each space will be stocked with plenty of sand. Entries will compete in several different categories: children 12 years and under, youth 13-17, and adults and family. First through third place prizes will be awarded in each category.
The sculpting will take place from 10am - 3pm. Upon completion, all entries will be judged and prizes will be awarded around 4pm. The entry fee is also free with paid admission to Lake Gregory.
