Best Comments On Your Blogposts-What They Say About Your Writing Style
Sometimes when writers write, they are baring their souls to the readers. Other times, it's "strictly the facts, ma'am."
Whatever it is, the comments that you get from your followers can make you belt out a laugh, create an "ahhh" moment, or make you stop and look at yourself in a totally different (and somewhat more objective) light.
Comments are equally as important both for the writer of the post as well as those who come by to read another person's comments that can spark entirely new conversations.
The people who comment from their own truth are the ones that touch me the most. One of my most recent made me laugh hysterically, but EVERY writer would love to hear this:
"You write with such passion and enthusiasm, I enjoy your posts so very much.
I think you could make a sandwich interesting."
Not only was I touched, but it was such a delightful way to give me a thumbs up about my writing style that it just made my day!
I don't know if commenters realize what an impact they can have on those of us in this social network, but it can lift someone up so easily, with words of encouragement or turn someone around who may be ready to throw in the towel, or just give them a laugh and a needed virtual pat on the back to get them through an arduous day.
Never underestimate the power of your comment.
Thank you to each and every one of my followers, but thank you, especially, Sheila Anderson
for giving me the impetus to write this post!
