As promised, I’m sharing with you all some neat capabilities that apply to tablets that operate with the Android platform (Samsung Galaxy, Nexus 7 and crew) – there are many more in the actual blog, including tips on locking and erasing a lost tablet, adding widgets and getting refunds for mis-purchased apps, so be sure to head over there for more info.
Power Saving Mode – How many times has technology failed you while you were out in the trenches? Dead tablets are useless. Go to Settings and turn on Power Saving Mode so that your tablet doesn’t waste battery sitting in your purse or briefcase.
Track Data Usage – Prevent surprises on your data bill each month by tracking your usage in Settings. You can even set up alerts to notify you when you’ve reached your limit.
Invert Colors – Flipping the screen’s colors deters eye strain, especially when you’re working late at night or in dim spaces. Turn it on by going to Settings > Accessibility > Inverted Rendering.
