46th Southington CT Apple Harvest Festival

It’s the first weekend of the Southington CT Apple Harvest Festival, and although the weather has been questionable the fun is still there.

This is the 46th year and it should be every bit as successful with organizers expecting another 100,000 person crowd by the time it ends next Sunday evening.

Not all of the booths are open during the week, the Apple Fritter booth will be open every day from 6 AM to closing at 9 pm with exception of Sunday at 6 PM.

 Southington CT Apple Harvest Festival

There are rides for the kids, with special day passes available. Vendors and exhibitors booths line the town green in addition to Riccio way.

The second weekend features the Arts and Crafts Fair, with live entertainment scheduled throughout the day.

Festival hours are:   Fri      5 PM to 9 PM
                             Sat     9 AM to 9 PM
                             Sun    Noon to 5 PM
Parking is available at Southington High School with free shuttle bus service.

Ed the weather did not cooperate today, but tomorrow is suppose to be much better, which should bring more people to the festival.
