This event is personal to me and to a number of people. I think everyone knows someone suffering from the effects of Alzheimers. It is such a tragic disease, what it does to the mind. Very sad to watch someone you love deteriorate, to the point that they don't know you anymore :(
Let's put an end to Alzheimers -- walk for a cure!
What:
When: Saturday, October 11, 2014 - rain or shine
Where: Odell Weeks Park/Activities Center - 1700 Whiskey Road, Aiken- across from Home Depot.
Time: registration at 8:30am, ceremony 8:45am, walk begins at 9am.
Fee: there is no registration fee, but a donation would be appreciated!
